Congratulations on the first edition of the Indian Crescent Society of Australia’s newsletter and the formation of your Society.

Indian Muslim culture is a rich and important part of the ACT and the Society can play a vital role in developing cultural links that bring people together. Your passionate advocacy for a more inclusive society can make Canberra and Australia a better place to live for all.

Canberra is a proud multicultural city and sharing culture, traditions and heritage is an important part of a diverse and successful society. The generosity of Indian Muslims in sharing your own culture with the wider Australian community is very much appreciated and I hope it continues for many years to come.
