ICSOA has been highly successful in developing its community profile and continues to organise seminars and events in collaboration with other organisations in various fields of education, health, festivities and community life.
Lately two community service events namely the consular camp to clarify visa issues and Legal forum dealing with policing and legal rights. Both unique events were well attended and highly appreciated.
The persecution of Rohingya Muslims over the years and now their ethnic cleansing from the state of Rakhine, just because they are Muslims is highly alarming.
The whole world is condemning these atrocities, but there is much talk and no action. Those who are in authority are simply sitting and watching including the UN, the OIC, world powers and the Muslim governments.
It is if great concern that all neighbouring countries should not move towards discriminatory foreign policies and supporting oppressive regimes who are engaged in human rights abuses and pursuing apartheid policies.
