Saqib Akhunji, a student of Sydney Grammar School, has obtained 97.45 ATAR in HSC and also secured admission in a highly competitive medical program at Bond University, Gold Coast. Bond is one of only a few universities in Australia offering medicine as a program commencing at the undergraduate level. The bond medical program is built on the principles of evidence-based practice now embraced by practitioners worldwide. It follows a holistic learning strategy with extensive clinical experience and patient contact integrated from early on in the studies.
Saqib is the son of Dr Zakir Akhunji, a well-known cardiac surgeon in Sydney and member of the health subcommittee of the Indian Crescent Society of Australia (ICSOA).
ICSOA congratulates Saqib Akhunji and his family for his achievements and wishes him well for his future career.
