I offer my best wishes to members of the Indian Crescent Society of Australia as you prepare for the holy month of Ramadan.

By providing a voice for Indian Muslims and representing the communities interests, ICSOA is an example of an organisation that seeks to help new migrants in Australia as well as strengthen cultural links and networking in India. I commend all those involved on their tireless efforts to further this spirit of interfaith dialogue and promoting values of multiculturalism and harmony. Muslims of Indian origin have contributed to the public, business and cultural communities of NSW, and the NSW Government is committed to building our relationship.

The NSW Government is pleased to recognise the achievements of ICSOA in progressing these multicultural values across NSW and I send my warmest wishes to the Indian Muslim community for the holy month of Ramadan.
