I would like to wish everyone observing Ramadan in NSW a safe, blessed and peaceful holy month.

As Minister for Multiculturalism, I am always deeply touched by your warm welcome at community Iftar dinners, and generosity in sharing your cultural richness and diversity.

Leading into this time of reflection, I would like to acknowledge the fantastic contributions of the Muslim community for making NSW the great place it is today.

I especially want to acknowledge the Muslim community for continuing to be at the forefront of supporting many vulnerable residents across NSW, whether it was the bushfires, COVID-19 pandemic or the floods. I thank you for your care, your compassion and your charity.

Again, I wish you all peace and happiness during this holy month.
