I trust you and your families enjoyed a joyous Eid. I hope this time brought you peace, happiness and fulfilment.

It is also a great pleasure to congratulate the Indian Crescent Society of Australia Inc. (ICSOA) on publishing their fourth newsletter.

There are over 5000 Indian Muslim families in Australia and I am proud to represent a large community within the Chifley electorate.

ICSOA is an important local organisation for Indian Muslim migrants in our community, promoting a strong sense of social inclusion and harmony. ICSOA is assisting many families to settle in to their new lives and is lending a helping hand in planning their futures.

I wish to commend all the organisers and contributors of the organisation and the newsletter. I wish you many more successful years and publications to come.
