Eid al Fitr for me is about spending time with loved ones and reflecting on the past month. It is always heart- warming to see how different cross- sections of the community come together during Ramadan, for the simple act of sharing a meal. This diversity is what makes me proud to represent the electorate of Lakemba. The Indian Crescent Society of Australia provides meaningful support for members and organisations of the community to connect with one another, and I thank them for this important and ongoing work. I wish everyone at the Indian Crescent Society of Australia an Eid Mubarak.
