Eid Milan joined by religious and political fraternities

Anjuman-e-Burhani Jamaat of Sydney, Australia convened an Eid Milan gathering at Masjid-e-Fakhri on 25th June 2017 in Sydney during Ramadan under the auspices of Janab Mehlam Bhaisaheb Burhani, who has visited from India.

Political dignitaries, community leaders and religious leaders from Jewish, Christian and Hindu faiths graciously attended this memorable event.

After the traditional opening of proceedings by a native Aborigine, Uncle Lex, other guests were then invited to speak while the madrasah children laid out an exhibition on Bohra traditions. Association has also arranged the visit of guest to centre’s facilities. Children and youths of the Anujman has demonstrated cultural traditions and art works.

A festive Eid meal was served for the enjoyment of all as many new friendships were made and old ones were strengthened.
