Message of ICSOA’s President

During the last month, we all were busy with Ramadhan (Ramzan) & Eid. Number of Iftars and Eid get-togethers were arranged all over Australia by the Federal & State Parliamentarians and religious organizations. Many Iftars were arranged and attended by non-Muslims too. A good sign of religious harmony in Australia. ICSOA team has met number of community leaders from non-Muslims background and we appreciate this supportive participation and would like to reciprocate and be part of other religion’s festivities in future.

Indian Muslim organization in Sydney, Australian Malayalee Islamic Association NSW had arranged an Iftar. Anjuman-e-Burhani and Gujrat Muslim Association of Australia had also arranged EID get together. These events were well organized and managed. I have got the similar type of report from Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. On behalf of ICSOA, I congratulate all organizers and commend for their hard work . May Allah accept our work, our prayers, our Duas and best wishes for the peace and harmony in the community all over the world.

Friends, our mind is like richly woven fabrics of colors. A beautiful garden looks nice with full of colors. Green color is the most important color of the garden for any good looking garden. Elimination of green color from the garden is impossible. A green tree is always useful for the environment.

When I see the colors of the Indian flags, 2 colors Saffron and Green in same area remind me that Green and Saffron work together and used in creative contrast on Indian flag. We can’t separate one color from this and still believe that this is the same garden and same Indian flag. Let us keep this rich template of colors of togetherness in our hearts.

On 26th July, I have written a letter to the newly elected President of India Hon Mr. Ram Nath Kovind and expressed our feelings to keep peace and harmony of religious freedom in India.

Next month, 15th August 2017 is the 70th anniversary of the India’s Independence Day. I wish that Indian Muslims all over the world shall unite, contribute and promote the religious harmony. We should respect everyone irrespective of differences in our faiths, religions and ethnicities. We must reject the initiatives of those who are spreading hatreds anywhere in the world. Please look after the interest of the country where you are living now and help the interests of India.
