Ramadan (normally pronounced in the Indian subcontinent as Ramzan), is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting (Roza) to commemorate the first revelation of the Holy Quran.
It is our humble request to all community members not to waste food or water specially when you are finishing your fast (At the time of Iftari). Please remember those who are not able to get adequate amount of a single meal and drink elsewhere in the world. How hard will it be for them and their children in extreme weather conditions to go about their daily lives on minimal food consumption?
In this Holy month of Ramadan (Ramzan), may we all be blessed with good health & prosperity. May Allah’s blessing always shine upon all of us. Let the month of Ramzan guide & show us the way of brotherhood.
