I am pleased to share with you the first newsletter of ICSOA. This would not have been possible without the support of Media and IT sub-committees. I want to congratulate the team on completion of the first newsletter in a short time.

ICSOA is networking Indian Muslim community in Australia. We are in the process of compiling the data for all Indian Muslims in Australia. This year, we will continue to expand our database and constantly explore new networking opportunities for the welfare of our members and ICSOA family.

While we acknowledge the need of respect and help for our seniors, we also believe that our youth and children are the most important Australians for the future of our community. We are in the process of identifying & shaping the ICSOA-Youth sub-committee and you will be informed about their activities very soon.

ICSOA’s health activities have also been initiated this year. From the next quarter onwards, we shall be working on new sub-committees such as ICSOA-Women, ICSOA-Youth, ICSOA-Business, ICSOA-Sports & ICSAO-culture. I want to invite everyone of you to support this massive task. Your support is important and will be highly appreciated by ICSOA management. I am confident that with our joint efforts we shall be able to serve the entire Australian Indian Muslim community as ICSOA family.

I want to acknowledge the Indigenous people and their elders who have given us the opportunity to live peacefully and promote our Indian Muslim culture in Australia. There is an important aspect & dimension of ICSOA which I want to emphasize on 26th January which is our interfaith relations and our supportive presence with other ethnic groups for the demonstration of community unity and harmony to project our multicultural Australian themes. I believe that every one of us should be a representative of India in Australia as well as a representative of Australia in India when travelling to India.

Finally, I must acknowledge everyone in the committee and volunteers who dedicate their time and energy for ICSOA. Thanks a lot for your support.
