A Russian Muslim artist Ildar Khanov has designed an architectural complex “ Temple of all religions” in Staroye Arakchino (a micro district of Kazan Russia).Complex is unique display of harmony of religions and has religious architectures of Mosque, Synagogue and Church etc.
The structure now serves as a cultural center. Khanov describes this as an architect of culture and truth.
Ildar Khanov is known for his work and efforts in the treatment of the alcoholism and drug addictions. His former patients have helped him maintain and develop the structure. Structure used for the tourist as well as those who visit to Kharnov.
Ground breaking for this was arranged in 1992. When finished , the structure shall have 16 Cupolas (Minaret) which correspond to 16 world religions.
